UFA Sports concluded a long-term cooperation and marketing agreement with the German Basketball Federation (DBB) in 2010. UFA Sports will be responsible for the exclusive marketing of comprehensive advertising and media rights of the German National Basket Team. Besides qualifying and friendly matches the cooperation comprises the comprehensive marketing of the annually held Super Cup.

The Supercup is an anually held prestigious international basketball tournament staged in Bamberg, Germany. Its 24th edition was held from August 11th to 12th 2012. The German National Team around the returned Coach Svetislav Pešic and noumerous young talents such as Robin Benzing and Tibor Pleiß competed with vice world champion Turkey around NBA superstar Hidayet Türkoglu, Poland with NBA player Marcin Gortat and Finland, led by key player Hanno Möttölä. The German team impressed with explosive basketball in front of 6,800 viewers in the sold-out Stechert Arena and achieved their 2nd victory at the Supercup after 2004.
