Kontinental Hockey League (KHL)

UFA Sports is set to market the global TV rights to the Euroasia’s Continental Hockey League (KHL), the counterpart of the American ice hockey league NHL. While UFA Sports will act as marketing service partner, KHL will retain their rights in house.

The Kontinental Hockey League was set up in March 2008 and has developed into the strongest ice hockey league outside of North America. The league features top players from hockey nations such as the Czech Republic, Canada, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, USA and many other countries.

With state-of-the-art product design and TV production, the KHL guarantees international high-class sports content. The 26 participating teams from Russia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Finland, Croatia and the Slovak Republic give the KHL a true pan-European flavour. The fight for the KHL’s Trophy - Gagarin Cup will be tougher than ever before.
